Ukrainian Officials Say Nearly 3,000 Russians Killed in Last Four Days Alone

While it’s no secret that the Russian military has weathered staggering losses in its inch-by-inch invasion of Ukraine, the exact number remains a source of great speculation.

But the Ukrainian Defense Ministry has offered a calculation, and it’s horrifying.

According to the Ukranian officials, nearly 3,000 Russians have died – in the last four days alone.

Russia has now lost an estimated 120,760 soldiers since they first invaded Ukraine in February 2022.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said over a New Year’s address that he believes Russia is “afraid” and he can sense their “fear.”

He told the world, “They are afraid. You can feel it. And they are right to be afraid. Because they are losing. Drones, missiles, anything else will not help them. Because we are together. And they are together only with fear.”

Even as Russian casualties ramp up, the US and other Western allies have begun ramping up of their own – sending over more armored vehicles and tanks than ever before.
