Twice as Many Russians as Ukrainians Killed in Ukraine Conflict, Leaked Estimates Suggest

Recent estimates suggest that things are going badly for Russia on the battlefield. Very, very badly.

Leaked documents from US intelligence agencies suggest that twice as many Russians have died in the conflict as Ukrainians.

The reports show that as many as 43,000 Russians may have died on the battlefield, compared to just 17,500 Ukrainians.

Injured troops for Russia could be as high as 154,000 to 180,000 versus the Ukrainian wounded, at around 109,000 to 113,500 troops.

The estimates are part of a leaked series of intelligence documents that have been making the rounds over the last week, alarming US officials and putting intelligence operations at risk.

But this round of numbers simply underscores how difficult the war has been for Russia, in contrast to the home run they expected when the invasion first began.
