Packed House at Barstool in Scottsdale, Arizona, to Kick Off Super Bowl Festivities – El Presidente David Portnoy Gives Us the FACTZ

FACTZ caught up with the Stoole President David Portnoy at Barstool’s restaurant and bar in Scottsdale.

Portnoy, who performed his LIVE Rundown show with BigCat & KFC to a packed house to kick off the #SuperBowl madness this week in Arizona.

We spoke with Portnoy to get all the FACTZ this week on every topic possible. Per usual, he never holds back (like a Gentleman):

  • Arizona is really spread out, but a good place for the Super Bowl. The worst city is Houston, Texas- “a pain in the ass, the traffic is terrible.”
  • Portnoy is still banned from Radio Row. “[Roger] Goodell still hates us [Barstool]. He takes himself too seriously. He’s a criminal, a crook, a coward.”
  • More on Roger Goodell. “He stole money from charity, dragged me out of the Super Bowl in handcuffs, lied under oath to Congress … he’s a clown.”
  • In conclusion, the NFL commissioner has “small dick syndrome.”
  • Portnoy’s Super Bowl party list is “Luke Combs and David Matthews.” It’s a hard pass on the Fanatics Party, “I like Michael Rubin, but I will never step foot at his parties the rest of my life. That all stems from; I have a place in the Hamptons; he throws the biggest white party, and he invited me but wouldn’t give me extra invites for my girlfriend. Once you say no to me [he is dead to me], you will never see me at one of his parties for the rest of my life! You have to put your foot in the sand- Stand for something, or stand for nothing!
  • Barstools is not going to change with Penn Entertainment’s buyout. The employees making moves to other cities like Chicago will help grow the brand, “It will just be more content.”
  • Portnoy’s dream in life is to “learn how to scuba dive.”

And the answer everyone wants to know … who will win the big game this Sunday? “Super Bowl right now, I am leaning Chiefs, but it’s a fluid situation.”

Special thanks to the Barstool family for embracing FACTZ.
