After Kanye West caught heat for wearing a “White Lives Matter” during a Yeezy fashion show in Paris, stars began speaking up. Some blasting West, some defending a Vogue editor that he bullied over her yellow boots.
One person, in particular, seems to have caught his ire – Gigi Hadid. Hadid called West a “bully” and a “joke,” defending the editor (Gabriella Karefa-Johnson) by saying, “You wish u had a percentage of her intellect. You have no idea, haha… If there’s actually a point to any of your shit, she might be the only person that could save u. As if the ‘honor’ of being invited to your show should keep someone from giving their opinion ..? Lol. You’re a bully and a joke.”
West took to Instagram today to fight back, posting, “I WONDER WHAT GIGI AND VENUS‘S PERSPECTIVES WERE WHEN I DIDNT KNOW WHERE MY CHILD WAS ON HER BIRTHDAY.”
West continues, “… SO WHY DID EVERYONE FEEL SO FREE TO ATTACK ME ABOUT MY T SHIRT BUT CANDACE OWENS WAS THE ONLY PUBLIC FIGURE TO SAY THAT IT WAS WRONG FOR THE KARDASHIANS TO KEEP ME FROM SEEING MY DAUGHTER.”

Now the ball is back in Hadid’s court, along with the dozens of famous critics calling him out for de-legitimizing a racial equality movement.
I’m not upset with Kanye speaking out. Gigi is a sad individual always going with the narrative and never thinking for herself.
