FACTZ caught up with billionaire businessman David Adelman at Michale Rubin’s Fanatics party and picked his brain about his career.

When asked about his personal successes, he said putting yourself out there and meeting people is one of the best investments you can ever make.

“It is all about learning and educating. Ask more questions and create opportunities by just meeting people”

“Some doors close, and others open, and hopefully, a couple of them hit. With a little luck and a little hard work, we’ve made a couple things work out.”

The 50-year-old Philadelphia-area native recently purchased a significant portion of Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin’s stake in Harris Blitzer Sports Entertainment, which owns the Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Devils.

Adelman said the new ownership role has not affected his fandom of the game, stating, “You see me sitting there, I cheer just as loud as I did before I was an owner.”

“I think the difference now is learning the whole business of sports. Learning what the behind the scenes were and I have a deeper appreciation for what goes on there to field such an amazing team.”
