Bethenny Frankel is speaking out after the internet came for her about a brief comment she made on a post by Gwenyth Paltrow.

Paltrow posted on social media that she was hosting Kim Kardashian on her podcast, captioning the post, “@kimkardashian is fascinating to the world, we know this. For me, she is fascinating because she challenges so many ideas of what a woman is supposed to be and how she is supposed to look and behave while doing it.”

Frankel responded, “I mean LOL.”

And people had some feelings about her comment. Half of them came for her and called her a “mean girl,” while the other half said they agreed.

Frankel then took to TikTok to address the situation, explaining that Paltrow saying #Kardashian challenges the idea that a woman is supposed to be is disingenuous. Frankel says it would have been better if she just admitted that she brought Kardashian on the show because she’s a girl boss and Paltrow wanted clicks.

“We don’t need all the sanctimonious aloe vera-covered bullshit,” Frankel said.

She concluded, “we would just like it straight. No chaser.”
