Adidas, CAA, Universal and Def Jam Ditch Ye: Here are All the Brands Who Have Dumped Kanye for Anti-Semitic Rants

Kanye West isn’t used to being held accountable for his behavior.

In a video that recently resurfaced, he even bragged about being able to say anything without repercussions – specifically from his former partners, Adidas.

FACTZ reported last week that Adidas would be issuing a statement dropping West after he went on a series of public anti-Semitic rants, earning him bands from multiple social media platforms and now killing a number of huge business collabs.

Adidas finally issued that statement, ending their partnership with Ye “effective immediately.”

This comes fast on the heels of an announcement from Creative Artists Agency that they were cutting ties with the controversial rapper and fashion mogul.

Here’s a look at all the brands that have cut ties with Ye:

  • Creative Artists Agency (CAA)
  • Adidas
  • Balenciaga
  • Vogue
  • MRC Documentary
  • Gap
  • JPMorgan Chase
  • Universal
  • Def Jam

There are likely going to be more farewells to come as the ripple effect from West’s behavior touches all of the fashion and entertainment world. Conservative voices have rallied around him to defend his right to “free speech,” and West has even purchased the “free speech” social media platform Parler since none of the others want him around.

But it’s unlikely that the impact of his actions stops here – more brands will likely make announcements in the days to come.
