Victoria’s Secret New CEO Resigns Less than a Year After Taking the Job

Amy Hauk, Victoria’s Secret’s newest CEO, has resigned less than a year after taking the job.

Hauk will leave her position in March.

Martin Waters, the CEO of the brand’s parent company, Victoria’s Secret & Co., will be taking over her position.

Many critics are attributing Hauk’s resignation to a series of “woke blunders” that include axing the brand’s popular “Angels” fashion shows and adding transgender model Valentina Sampaio as a brand ambassador.

However, the company has been on the rocks since its founder, Leslie Wexner, was revealed to have close ties to infamous pedophile and sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

Additionally, the company has been struggling since the start of COVID-19. Stocks did rally in 2021 but are expected to fall up to 7% this year.
