Vegas Golden Knights Dominate Stars In Game 6, Advance To Stanley Cup Finals

The Vegas Golden Knights have advanced to the Stanley Cup Finals for the second time in franchise history.

A dominant 6-0 win over the Dallas Stars closed out a hard-fought Western Conference Finals in convincing fashion.

William Karlsson – who is one of the remaining players from the inaugural Golden Knights team – scored two goals in the clinching victory.

Now, the Nevadan squad sets their sights on the upstart Florida Panthers for a championship showdown that almost nobody predicted.

Neither team has ever captured the Stanley Cup before.

The Golden Knights will have home ice advantage for the series and are marginal favorites in betting markets.

Nevertheless, the Panthers have won 11 of their last 12 games and have had the luxury of being able to rest since sweeping the Carolina Hurricanes on May 24.

The puck drops for the start of the Cup Finals in Sin City on June 3.
