The USA Mullet Championships has announced the Top 25 finalists for the 2023 “Mane Event,” inviting fans to cast their votes for their favorite “business at the front, party at the back” hairstyles. These finalists proudly display their majestic mullets, each adorned with unique nicknames such as “The BC Gravy Train,” “Terry the Walmart Wolverine,” “Panhandle Justice,” and “The Carolina Shrimp Tail” as they vie for the coveted crown.

One contender, Brandon Hernandez, has even enlisted the company of a chicken to strike a pose alongside him and his “Texas Tailgate” mullet. Wraparound shades and tank tops are staple accessories for these mullet enthusiasts, adding flair to their already impressive coiffures.

A panel of judges will assess each mullet based on criteria such as length, style, uniqueness, and showmanship to determine the final overall scores. The Mane Event finalists were selected from state fairs, festivals, official judge picks, and Facebook fan votes. Additionally, the defending champion from 2022, Scott Salvadore, is back in the running to defend his title with his “The Lord’s Drapes” hairstyle.
