Trump Wanted to Fire Jared and Ivanka via Tweet, According to New Book

According to an upcoming book by New York Times journalist Maggie Haberman (“Confidence Man: The Making of Donald Trump and the Breaking of America”), former President Donald Trump nearly fired his daughter and son-in-law via a Tweet.

According to the book, at one point, Trump was meeting with high-ranking members of his cabinet, including then-chief of staff John Kelly and then-White House counsel Don McGahn.

Trump was about to fire off a tweet that his daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner were leaving the White House, but Kelly talked him out of it and told him to speak with them first.

He never ended up having the conversation with the pair, an unsurprising revelation given Trump’s intense dislike of interpersonal conflict. They remained in high-ranking influence during the remainder of his time at the White House.

But Trump always disliked Kushner, mocking him as an “elite” and even saying at one point that “he sounds like a child” after a 2017 testimony before Congress.

The revelation that things were tenser with his golden child Ivanka and her husband than previously suspected joints a long line of other surprising peeks into the chaos of the Trump White House, especially in the final days.

  • There is definitely a riff in the family between Ivanka and the others…. Mums the word though. Of course MSM would have a field day with it.

From her jab pic 5/2021 to 1/2022 she was social media silent. Guessing the jab didn’t go over well. 🤗
