There are a lot of hallmarks of a government with militant overreach:

• They suppress free speech
• They disband lawful protests
• They lie about their own criminal behavior
• They wear shoes in the bedroom

Wait, what was that last one?

Former President Donald Trump is lashing out at the FBI this week after returning to Mar-a-Lago for the first time since the raid in early August, and he’s spitting mad.

Trump wrote on Truth Social, “Arrived in Florida last night and had a long and detailed chance to check out the scene of yet another government ‘crime,’ the FBI’s Raid and Break-In of my home, Mar-a-Lago. I guess they don’t think there is a Fourth Amendment anymore, and to them, there isn’t. In any event, after what they have done, the place will never be the same.”

Trump then added the insult to injury; “It was ‘ransacked,’ and in far different condition than the way I left it. Many Agents – And they didn’t even take off their shoes in my bedroom. Nice!!!”

Trump’s criticism of the FBI’s behavior in his Florida residence has been non-stop since the August raid, but the shoes add a new level to the whole thing. Now, it’s personal.
