TRUMP SAGA BREAKDOWN

Trump Be Damned! The FACTZ from the Indictment’s Statement of Facts

After Donald Trump’s historic indictment Tuesday, the statement of facts in the case hit the streets and here are all the real FACTZ from the damning 13-page document. Many people are doing hard time for WAY less than what is outlined in this document. There are no two ways about it, all of it is backed up with a MASSIVE paper trail.

The statement of facts “alleges” that Trump repeatedly and fraudulently falsified New York business records to conceal criminal conduct that hid damaging information from the voting public during the 2016 presidential election.

From August 2015 to December 2017, Trump orchestrated a scheme with others to influence the 2016 presidential election by identifying and purchasing negative information about him to suppress its publication and benefit his electoral prospects, violating election laws and causing false entries in the business records of various entities in New York. They mischaracterized, for tax purposes, the true nature of the payments made in furtherance of the scheme. $130,000 was paid to an adult film actress shortly before the election to prevent her from publicizing a sexual encounter with the Defendant. The $130,000 payment was made through a shell corporation.

The Catch and Kill

In 2015, American Media’s CEO agreed to help with Trump’s campaign, saying that he would act as the “eyes and ears” for the campaign by looking out for negative stories about him and alerting his lawyer before the stories were published. The AMI CEO also agreed to publish negative stories about Trump’s competitors for the election. $30,000 was paid to a doorman by American Media to Catch and Kill a story, which turned out to be false about an illegitimate child. AMI falsely characterized this payment in AMI’s books and records, including in its general ledger.

In 2016, AMI paid $150,000 to a woman who alleged she had a sexual relationship with Trump while he was married. In exchange for her agreement not to speak out about the alleged sexual relationship. AMI falsely characterized this payment in AMI’s books and records, including in its general ledger.

About one month before the election, on or about October 7, 2016, news broke that Trump had been caught on tape saying to the host of Access Hollywood: “I just start  kissing them [women]. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything…. Grab ’em by the [genitals]. You can do anything.”

The evidence shows that both the Defendant and his campaign staff were concerned that the tape would harm his viability as a candidate. Shortly after the Access Hollywood tape became public, another woman was paid off $130,000.

And if that wasn’t all bad enough … Here comes the tax fraud.

Shortly after being elected president, Trump had to pay everyone back and all agreed to a total repayment amount of $420,000. On his lawyer’s tax returns this was characterized as income instead of a reimbursement. All this was paid over 12 monthly payments. In early February 2017, the guilty parties used the White House to reconfirm this fraudulent activity.

A dark day for American democracy — but an eye opening one, indeed.
