TikTok user Melissa, known for her handle @thatssodavis, has become viral for her ‘Get Ready With Me’ (GRWM) videos that include her telling a story about “her life” that is in fact just from a novel.

We were intrigued by one of her more recent videos where she talks about losing her virginity to a homeless man. Marissa starts the video by saying, “I lost my virginity to a homeless man. Let’s talk about it,”

The TikTok user gets into the story as she does her makeup sharing that she’s 21 years old at the time, and working at an office where she wasn’t treated the best and often ate lunch alone because of it. “One day I go to sit on this bench that’s right by where I work and I sit down, and I see this guy who’s playing his guitar, very attractive and I keep coming back and I notice that he’s there a lot,” says Marissa.

The two eventually get into a conversation and continue getting to know each other day after day. She reveals that she begins to grow feelings for the homeless man and one night goes to the bridge that he sleeps under to check on him. And, if you didn’t already guess, that turns into the night she loses her virginity to the homeless man.

TikToker Marissa does a really great job at telling the story that you begin to believe that it’s actually true however, the caption of the video is “Book: No Tomorrow by Carian Cole” which leads us to believe that the story she is telling is actually not one about her personal life. Marissa has a grid of videos in the same format so if you like knowing about a book without having to read it, she’s your girl.
