Thursday Night Football Betting Odds: Lions Slight Favorites In Divisional Battle

A pair of 2-1 NFC North teams face off on Thursday Night Football when the Detroit Lions head to Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers.

The betting line has moved back and forth all week. The Packers originally opened as 1.5-point favorites, but those odds have flipped in the Lions favor. Detroit now sits as 2-point favorites at the majority of sportsbooks.

Each team was victorious in Week 3 but injuries have already hampered both sidelines.

For the Lions, two offensive linemen have already been ruled out for the contest while two more are questionable. The Packers are also banged up with a litany of contributors in danger of missing the game.

Notbaly, Packers running back Aaron Jones is expected to play, which would be a significant boost for their ground game.

The total has held firm at 45 to 45.5 all week. Both games against each other last season went under that number.

Detroit is the best spread covering team in football since Dan Campbell took over as Lions head coach. They are 25-12 against the spread in that time and seem to be deserving favorites with a cleaner injury report than the Cheeseheads.
