The Boston Celtics will see another game.
They successfully staved off the Miami Heat sweep by turning a six-point half-time deficit into a resounding 116-99 victory on the road.
Jayson Tatum led the way with 34 points in the win, while five other Celtics chipped in double-digit points on the night.
Heading into the game, both Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart warned the Heat “don’t let us win one.”
Well, they got one and Game 5 will now happen back in Boston on Thursday.
Jimmy Butler paced Miami in scoring with 29 points, but the 33-year-old was an uncharacteristic 9-for-21 from the field. The Heat as a whole shot a pedestrian 43.6% in the contest.
No team has ever come back from a 3-0 series deficit in the NBA Playoffs, so fortune certainly still favors the squad from South Florida.
Betting odds favor Miami too, as they remain -270 favorites on the series moneyline.
