BREAKING CONFIRMED

Shannon Sharpe and Fox Sports Going Their Separate Ways

Shannon Sharpe is packing his bags and leaving FS1. Sharpe plans to leave the popular sports show “Undisputed” with Skip Bayless after the NBA Finals in June. Along with his hosting duties, he is taking his podcast and Youtube channel in the buyout with Fox Sports, which owns FS1.

Sharpe and Bayless were known to go back and forth on air, and we still don’t know if it was for entertainment purposes or for real. Things got heated this past fall when Bills safety Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field, and Bayless tweeted about his issues with the NFL shutting down the rest of the game due to the injury. The following day, Sharpe stayed home from the show, and Bayless refused to take down the tweet. FACTZ sources in production speculated that Sharpe wanted to have a bigger picture within the show, but Bayless kept Sharpe back.

There was also known drama between Bayless and Lebron James as he is very vocal about his dislike of the Lakers star, and Sharpe has a friendship with James. No word who will replace Sharpe, but we have to imagine that ESPN is excited about the Sharpe being a broadcast-free agent.
