Sources close to production have reported to Variety that season 3 of “The White Lotus” will be set in Thailand.

Season 1 was shot at the Four Seasons in Hawaii, and season 3 at the Four Seasons in Italy, so it makes sense that they would choose one of the hotel’s properties in Thailand.

Those properties are in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Koh Samui and Golden Triangle.

In the past, Mike White had suggested that season 3 would be set in Aria and focus on “death and Eastern religion and spirituality,” but so far HBO is keeping their lips sealed on the topic.
