During the search operations, law enforcement officers uncovered and confiscated a significant number of slot-style machines and “fish game” table machines, strongly indicating the presence of an illegal gambling operation.

The Pomona Police Department’s Major Crimes Task Force and Special Investigations Unit, in cooperation with the Los Angeles County District Attorney Bureau of Investigations, recently conducted targeted search warrants at significant premises within the city.

These search warrants were executed at 1160 W. Mission Blvd. and 977 S. Garey Ave., chosen based on a multitude of community complaints and anonymous tips that had raised suspicions regarding activities taking place at these locations.

Responding to these concerns raised by residents, the authorities initiated immediate investigations to determine the validity of the claims.
