Pickleball Association Locks in Broadcast Deals with ESPN and CBS Sports

Pickleball will soon be coming to a television near you.

The Association of Pickleball Professionals just sealed a broadcast deal with ESPN CBS Sports covering hundreds of hours of APP Tour pickleball programming in 2023.

This includes 12 hours of live matches and highlights on CBS Sports network, 8 hours of recaps on ESPN2, and over 200 hours of live coverage on ESPN+.

The association will also have coverage on its own outlet, titled APP TV.

The game, which combines tennis, Ping-Pong and squash, has seen a surge in interest lately with big stars like LeBron James, Tom Brady and Kevin Durant all announcing investments in Major League Pickleball.

The APP kicked off its fourth season in January in Punta Gorda, Florida, with an event that included over 700 professional and amateur pickleball players from all over the world.
