NYE Events During the Great Recession – GALA Aspen Sold Out

While some cities struggle to keep the lights on, Aspen, Colorado, does not have that problem.

A new venue from Miami named Gala opens its doors in Aspen this week, and their New Years’ event is SOLD OUT.

But it gets better. The table minimum is $30,000 for a party of ten people.

According to our source in RollingLoud management, “We [Gala] now have a waiting list, and we sold out in nineteen minutes, 40 tables. With a waiting list of 20 for cancellations, that won’t happen. It’s the party of the year. Mo is out for blood!”

So if you are doing the math, that’s $1.2 million in reservations for a location that hasn’t even turned on its lights. What recession?

  • Isn’t that Mo guy from LIV?? I remember him when I was in college. I’m 37 now! He is still a club promoter? Is this him?

    • Mo Garcia is actually a great guy. This is all a front to use his beef with Grutman as a marketing tool. He’s an owner now not a club promoter.
