Memphis Grizzlies’ Ja Morant Handed Hefty 25-Game Suspension By NBA

Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant has reportedly been suspended 25 games by the NBA for what has been deemed “conduct detrimental to the league.”

Morant, who was already suspended this season for similar infractions, has repeatedly been seen brandishing firearms on social media.

The talented guard received an eight-game ban back in March when a video surfaced of him flashing a gun while partying at a Denver nightclub.

Morant was then seen on his friend’s Instagram livestream in May where he appeared to flash a gun again.

The 23-year-old made multiple statements stating he was on a better path and would not repeat the harmful conduct at the time of his initial suspension.

Clearly, this did not stick for the two-time All Star.

This suspension better serve as a wake-up call because Morant continues to leave tens of millions of dollars on the table with his bone-headed decisions.
