Kobe Bryant Jersey Could Fetch $7 Million at Auction

Sotheby’s is selling a rare jersey worn by Kobe Bryant during his 2007-2008 MVP season.

Experts are speculating that the jersey will be the most valuable Bryant memorabilia ever sold at auction, and could fetch up to $7 million.

Brahm Wachter, Sotheby’s head of streetwear and modern collectibles, told CNBC this week, “To have this jersey from that iconic moment is not only really special, but it has also served as this point of inspiration all over the world of Kobe in this jersey.”

The instantly recognizable and iconic piece of basketball memorabilia was born by the star in 25 games over eight months, where he averaged 25.8 points per game.
