Frank Ocean took the stage for Coachella weekend one, but fans were a little underwhelmed.

The star only played for 30 minutes, and stayed behind a screen – after arriving an hour late.

Many criticized the lackluster performance, saying they felt cheated or scammed out of their money.

Others were more sympathetic, pointing out that Frank Ocean was performing to honor his brother who loved Coachella and passed away in 2020.

But for those who didn’t understand the emotional weight Ocean was carrying onto the stage, it was a disappointing night that they waited hours to be let down by.
