Draymond Green is staying in the Bay Area.

The four-time NBA champion and eight-time All-Defensive Team member agreed to a four-year, $100 million contract with the Golden State Warriors on Friday evening.

Green’s new contract includes a player option in the final season.

The expectation was that Green would always stay in Golden State, but more doubt started to set in with each passing day.

Now, the Warriors head into the season with their legacy core of Green, Stephen Curry, and Klay Thompson still intact.

With the newly acquired Chris Paul also in the fold, the Warriors remain in the championship conversation.

They are currently +1300 to win the title in the 2023-24 season.
