On Wednesday, Donald Trump shocked the nation by sharing a comment from a supporter that told people they were “Locked and loaded” and ready for another violent insurrection.

The comment Trump shared on Truth was from user @freeTX1776, and read, “Then they will have to figure out how to fight 80,000,000 + it’s not going to happen again. People my age and old will physically fight for him this time. What we got to lose? I’ll donate the rest of my time here on this planet to do it. And I know many many others who feel the same. They got my 6 and we Are Locked and LOADED.”

The former POTUS was hit with immediate backlash, with even supporters calling out his endorsement of another January 6-like event.

Former Republican Representative Adam Kinzinger joined the chorus of condemnation online, saying, “This is sick sick sick. Is it legal to even invite this kind of stuff?”

Attorney Harris Peskin responded to Kinzinger with a heavily sarcastic, “Absolutely shocked that the guy who tried to overthrow the government the first tim,e would try again. I just DID NOT see this coming! What a twist!”
