One part of the now-dissolved Migos rap trio, Takeoff, has been shot and killed in Houston this morning. He was 28 years old.
Takeoff, Offset and Quavo made up the popular group, but now the two left behind are mourning one of their own.
According to witnesses, Takeoff was killed at a bowling alley where he was playing dice with his uncle and bandmate, Quavo, on Tuesday around 230AM local time.
Witnesses also said that 40 to 50 people were at a private party when someone opened fire, and Takeoff was pronounced dead at the scene.
There is a rumor that Quavo was injured too, but nothing confirmed yet.
Rap and hip hop artists have taken to the internet to mourn the influential artist, whose time in Migos helped shape a generation of beats.
