Breaking: Blazers Star Point Guard Damian Lillard Acquired By Bucks In Three-Team Deal

Trade rumors have swirled around Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard all summer, but the deal has finally come to fruition.

Lillard is reportedly heading to the Milwaukee Bucks as part of a three-team trade with the Blazers and Phoenix Suns.

Portland will receive two-time All Star Jrue Holiday, former first-overall pick Deandre Ayton, Toumani Camara, Milwaukee’s 2029 unprotected first-round pick and unprotected swap rights with Milwaukee in 2028 and 2030.

The Suns will get Jusuf Nurkic, Grayson Allen, Nassir Little and Keon Johnson in the reported deal.

Lillard has played all 11 years of his NBA career in Portland. The 33-year-old is a seven-time All Star and is coming off of a season where he averaged 32.2 points.

The deal is a hefty price to pay for the Bucks, but with Lillard in the fold alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo, they are understandably in the conversation for best team in the NBA.

Milwaukee has become the odds-on betting favorite at most sportsbooks after the acquisition.
