Boston Bruins Break NHL’s Single-Season Win Record With 63rd Victory

The Boston Bruins now stand alone as the NHL’s all-time leader for wins recorded in a single season after downing the Philadelphia Flyers 5-3 on Sunday.

David Pastrnak scored a hat trick in the record-setting game, giving the Czech superstar 60 goals on the season.

The victory broke a tie with the 1995-96 Detroit Red Wings and 2018-19 Tampa Bay Lightning. The Bruins are also one point away from tying the all-time points record that is held by the 1976-77 Montreal Canadiens.

With a 63-12-5 record to go along with a staggering plus-124 goal differential, there is no debate as to who the best team in the league is.

It has been a remarkable season, but the Bruins will not be satisfied unless they are lifting the Stanley Cup when all is said and done.
