Biden’s War on Oil and Gas is Costing the US Big Time – $100B a Year

When you talk about sustainable energy, it sounds lovely.

However, please realize that pursuing the goal of eliminating US oil and gas in the next 20 years is costing the country big time, to the tune of around $100B a year in lost output.

The former economist for former President Donald Trump, Steven Moore, teamed up with Casey Mulligan to release a report detailing the cost of Biden’s war on oil.

In the report, Moore explains that Biden’s anti-oil policies are costing the country even as he promises to lower prices at the pump – a contradiction few are calling him out on.

Biden has canceled pipelines, reduced drilling on public lands, and instituted draconian new environmental standards that make it more complicated and more expensive to drill for oil – all while promising to make it cheaper for Americans to buy gas. The US could produce 2 to 3 million more barrels of oil daily, but Biden’s policies prevent it – which is where the $100B in lost output comes from.

It’s an abrupt policy reversal from the Trump administration, prioritizing domestic drilling and keeping the cost of oil low.
