That’s right. Your favorites are coming back for “Beverly Hills Cop,” the sequel, which is currently in production.

Eddie Murphy reunites with Judge Reinhold, John Ashton, Paul Reiser and Bronson Pinchot for the movie, which will be called, “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley.”

While the name is a bit of a bust, everything else sounds promising – even if viewers are getting a little tired of remakes and sequels.

“Axel Foley” marks the fourth installment in the hit comedy franchise and is being produced by Netflix, whose record on retelling old stories is hit or miss.

Details of the sequel have been mostly kept under wraps, but here’s hoping this Jerry Bruckheimer/Eddie Murphy/Chad Oman-produced film brings the vibe to 2023 (or 2024?).
