Anna Delvey Makes a Statement at Immigration Appointment in NYC

Convicted con artist Anna Sorokin, better known as Anna Delvey, was spotted heading to her weekly immigration appointment in New York City on Thursday. Delvey, who has been under house arrest since October 2022 due to an ongoing immigration case, made quite the fashion statement during her visit to the federal agency.

The 32-year-old arrived at the immigration office donning a striking seafoam green pleated maxi skirt paired with elegant strappy black heels. She shielded her eyes with a pair of oversized metal-rimmed sunglasses, which perfectly complemented her oversized black leather clutch. However, the most eye-catching piece of her ensemble was a black sweatshirt featuring the words “I H8 Anna Delvey” printed in white font against a bold red background.

Delvey rose to notoriety for her audacious attempts to pose as a wealthy German heiress, allowing her to infiltrate the inner circle of New York City’s most prominent socialites. Her elaborate scheme began in 2013 when she relocated to the city, continuing until 2017. During this time, the Russian-born con artist used a fabricated identity to make fraudulent credit card purchases, issue fake bank statements, hop from one hotel to another, and swindle an estimated $275,000. Additionally, she fabricated the Anna Delvey Foundation, a fictitious private club and art foundation, as part of her efforts to attract wealthy donors and enhance her persona.
