Aljamain Sterling Tells FACTZ He’s Going To Drag Sean O’Malley’s Ass Up And Down The Octagon

FACTZ caught up with the always-entertaining Aljamain Sterling, who is fresh off of his bantamweight title defense against Henry Cejudo.

The champ said he celebrated his victory in style by taking down some “triple burritos” and laughing that he is “a little fat right now.”

Up next for Sterling, a heavily-anticipated showdown with ‘Sugar’ Sean O’Malley.

While no official date has been set yet, the 33-year-old speculated that he may be ready to go for UFC 292 in Boston, noting that “it would be the fastest turnaround in championship history.”

As for the fight, Sterling acknowledged that O’Malley has more power than Cejudo, but he thinks his own ground game will be the difference.

“Sean, I know, if I take him down with wrestling… I’m going to drag his ass up and down the octagon.”

The champ also showed some love to Cejudo and UFC president Dana White, saying that the former “makes the weight class more competitive” while the latter “runs a great business.”

In typical Sterling fashion, he ended the conversation with a couple quick jabs at the city of Boston.

“I don’t know if Boston deserves me. I’m from New York,” he said with a smile. “The only thing they are good for is losing to the New York Giants.”

We’re looking forward to the next title defense, whenever it takes place.
