Aljamain Sterling Tells FACTZ He’s Ready To Kick Henry Cejudo’s Ass in UFC 288 Main Event

FACTZ caught up with current bantamweight title holder Aljamain Sterling as he continues to prepare for his UFC 288 main event against Henry Cejudo in May.

The 33-year-old said he is getting himself physically amped for the tilt, but he is already set mentally.

“Training is intense right now. We are stepping up to a whole other level, but all the mind games I know Henry is trying to play … I’m bulletproof up there.”

“I’m excited for this one … gonna beat the brakes off that guy and just remind the world of who I am.”

Sterling also noted that Cejudo is probably the most accomplished fighter he has ever gone up against, but he admits he was surprised that Cejudo got the title shot in his first fight back from retirement.

“I questioned it, but it’s a bigger fight than I thought. In the beginning I thought nobody gives a shit … but the sales are coming in. If people are going to tune in and watch me kick his ass, then I’ll gladly kick his ass and take on O’Malley or Volkanovski next.”

May 6 cannot come soon enough!
