Afrojack Signs with Moe Shalizi and The Shalizi Group for Management

Dutch music producer and DJ, Afrojack, has signed a management deal with Moe Shalizi and The Shalizi Group. This Grammy-winning electronic artist will now be part of a dance roster that already includes renowned names such as Alesso, Jauz, and Marshmello. Shalizi has been instrumental in guiding Marshmello’s career from an unknown producer to a global brand.

Excited about this collaboration, Afrojack told Billboard, “Moe Shalizi’s past work speaks for itself, and I’m eager to see where our collaboration takes us in the long-term future.”

Afrojack is a prominent figure in the global dance scene, performing at major festivals worldwide. He has produced hits like “Take Over Control,” “Hey Mama” (with David Guetta), “No Beef” (with Steve Aoki), and many more. His collaboration with Guetta on “Titanium” became a lasting success. In 2011, he and Guetta won a Grammy for Best Remixed Recording (non-classical) for their edit of Madonna’s “Revolver.” With a catalog that has garnered 388 million on-demand official U.S. streams, Afrojack’s influence in the industry is undeniable.

This move in management comes after Afrojack’s signing with UMG’s Virgin Records Germany and Universal Music Netherlands in 2022. The partnership covers his longstanding label, Wall Recordings. Additionally, Afrojack’s WALL Recordings recently completed construction on its new headquarters, a compound in the Belgian countryside equipped with multiple studios, sleeping and office spaces, and content creation areas.

The Shalizi Group specializes in working with artists in the dance and hip-hop genres, with expertise in gaming, television, technology, consumer goods, fashion, and digital marketing.

“We are thrilled to have Nick on board and look forward to what the future holds,” says Shalizi, expressing his excitement about the collaboration.

This summer and fall, Afrojack is set to perform at several notable events, including Ultra Europe in Croatia, Tomorrowland in Belgium, Lollapalooza, and EDC Orlando.
