Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine is coming out swinging against allegations from Instagram model Sumner Stroh that the two had an affair and that he wanted to name he and his wife’s new baby after the model.

Okay, deep breath – that’s a lot. Here’s the breakdown.

  • Stroh has said in a TikTok video that they had a year-long affair, and that she felt manipulated because she was just starting out in the industry.
  • Stroh goes on to say that after they stopped sleeping together, Levine reached out to ask if it was cool to name his upcoming baby (#3) with wife Behati Prinsloo after Stroh.
  • Stroh provided screenshots of Levine asking if she would be cool with the baby’s name being “Sumner,” saying that he’s “dead serious” about the question.
  • Levine now says nope – there was no affair, although I was a little shady.

That brings us to Levine’s response to the TikTok vid.

According to TMZ, Levine says, “I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life.”

Levine continues, “In certain instances it became inappropriate. I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family.”

He concludes, “My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it and we will get through it together.”

To the three people who believe Levine, please remember: Stroh brought receipts.
