Your K-12 Kids Can Learn All About Porn and Abortion in This US State

One US state has really gone off the rails.

In Idaho, a state curriculum includes K-12 lessons that integrate “porn literacy” as well as information on abortion – and it’s all being cooked up by Planned Parenthood.

How is this possible, you ask? It’s complicated, and you have to watch the shell under the cup to see all the moving pieces fall into place, but here’s a quick breakdown:

  • Idaho law requires sex education to be taught in schools with a curriculum that reinforces traditional family arrangements.
  • But Idaho’s Department of Health and Welfare (IDHW) takes money from federal interest groups and non-profits that include – you guessed it – something called Education, Training, and Research (ETR), which has created a curriculum known as RTR (Reduce the Risk) … which is a Planned Parenthood concoction.
  • ETR says it delivers abstinence-focused, family-oriented sex education but what’s actually happening is not quite so straightforward.
  • The curriculum includes pro-LGBTQ lessons (“queering sex ed”), porn literacy, and other sex health topics that many families would be alarmed to find their kids are being taught in schools.
  • Idaho Freedom Foundation explains, “Other ETR-recommended ‘porn literacy’ activities include having kids watch the AMAZE Org video ‘Porn: Fact or fiction’ in which cartoon characters act out sexually explicit scenes. One young girl screams: ‘Wow! That’s so big. I never knew it could be so huge!’ The sexual innuendo is followed by cartoon characters performing sexual acts.”

It’s unclear how many schools in Idaho have adopted these lessons, but if parents in Idaho are worried about what their kids are being taught – this is a good time to pay attention.
