Vice President Kamala Harris has been blasted a few times over the years for making very little sense.

And she’s come through again with a humdinger of gibberish after claiming that President Joe Biden has the US border “under control.”

Which would be great if Biden even knew the border needed attention. He’s been focused on Eastern Europe and record-high inflation for so long that it’s not clear if Biden even remembers we have a border that touches other countries.

Harris, of course, came out the gate swinging, saying that the President has everything “secure.”

Since illegal crossings are set to pass 2 million, that sounds like a load of horseshit.

Harris spoke with NBC this week and said, “The border is secure, but we also have a broken immigration system, in particular, over the last four years before we came in, and it needs to be fixed.”

So which is it – is the border secure, or is it broken and needs to be fixed? Those two things are mutually exclusive by your definition, Madam Veep.

She added, “We have a secure border in that that is a priority for any nation, including ours and our administration. But there are still a lot of problems that we are trying to fix given the deterioration that happened over the last four years.”

It’s really easy when you can blame all your woes on your predecessor. A predecessor who many said was far too tough on immigrants, so make that make sense. It’s Trump’s fault the immigration system is broken even though he spent more time and energy on it than any president in recent memory?

Sure, that makes sense.
