Former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher, Trevor Bauer, has reached a settlement with the San Diego woman who accused him of sexual battery in 2021, effectively putting an end to all litigation between them. This includes Bauer’s defamation lawsuit against her, which was filed in April 2022.

In a statement issued by Bauer’s representatives, it was emphasized that Bauer has not made any payments to Lindsey Hill, the woman who made the accusations, as part of their resolution. Similarly, Hill’s attorney confirmed that she did not provide any financial compensation to Bauer but did receive $300,000 from her insurance company.

According to Hill’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, the settlement was reached on the basis of this insurance payment, with Lindsey agreeing to resolve the lawsuit. Additionally, Hill had previously filed a federal countersuit against Bauer, reiterating her claims of battery and seeking damages in line with evidence presented during a trial. This settlement also brings an end to those counterclaims.
