When the University of Connecticut’s men’s basketball teams arrived at their hotel on Tuesday in Las Vegas, they found their rooms to be in “awful” condition.

According to reports, they found filth, vomit, and “worse.”

The Huskies appealed to the NCAA, the body in charge of booking rooms, and they were promptly moved to a new hotel.

Athletic director David Benedict brushed off shocked responses, saying, “It’s not something we want to make a big deal out of. Everything worked out fine.”
