While everyone’s spending time talking about the things Elon Musk has been doing wrong since taking the reins at Twitter, there are some things he’s doing right.

Although it could be by accident.

Musk has been CEO of Twitter for about 11 days, and things have not been smooth sailing.

But one thing is looking good: user growth. User growth at Twitter reached a record high after Musk took over.

It could be because people want to be a part of the latest and most significant online controversy, and they’re flocking to (or back to) Twitter to watch it all godown.

Then there’s the fact that Musk is a self-proclaimed free speech absolutist, which means people that feel stifled or censored on other platforms may be eager to test the limits of his “say anything” set of beliefs.

Unfortunately, bringing users in droves doesn’t get nervous advertisers back, and right now, Musk needs advertisers more than he needs users.
