Tom Brady, Buccaneers Look To Upset Cowboys In Wild Card Battle

Tom Brady had never been a home playoff underdog in his entire NFL career.

But that is the exact situation the GOAT finds himself in tonight as his underwhelming Tampa Bay Buccaneers play host to the Dallas Cowboys in the final game of Super Wild Card Weekend.

The Cowboys finished the regular season with four more wins than the 8-9 Bucs, yet they are only 2.5-point favorites on the road for this game. The Bucs beat the Cowboys handedly in Week 1, but in all fairness, these squads have looked wholly different since that point.

The Cowboys have been strong on both sides of the ball and survived key injuries throughout the season, while the dysfunctional Buccaneers plodded through the year, only making the playoffs because of a weak NFC South.

Nevertheless, Brady is 7-3 in his postseason career as an underdog, so any bettors looking to back the Bucs can get them at around +125 on the moneyline.

The over/under is currently set at 45.5, which seems achievable for these two offenses. However, it is worth noting that the under has hit in five of the Cowboys last seven games on the road versus Tampa Bay.

Enjoy the game.
