FACTZ has been on a quest to see who has the best tomahawk steak in Los Angeles. Last week we tested Steak 48 and The Hideaway (head to head), and it wasn’t even close. The rumors of the best tomahawk in LA at The Hideaway are 100% true.
The victor was The Hideaway– amazing taste melts in your mouth, the presentation was tasteful (nothing over the top), and the food was the talent.
The loser Steak 48- tasted dry; they explained way too much (let the food do the talking), hot plates or cold plates (please choose for the customer), and the steak was terrible. Felt like a low-rent Mastros.
More tomahawk reviews to come; hard pass on the Steak 48 reservation. Definitely do date night at The Hideaway.
Steak 48 is terrible. My husband and I went last night and it was dead. No Mastros vibes at all 🥹
