School shootings are becoming a horrifying regularity in modern American society.

Rising rapidly alongside other mass shootings, school shootings are the one thing all Americans fear but no one is ready to tackle.

So one school district in Texas is taking matters into their own hands. Literally.

Wills Point Independent School District just outside of Dallas in East Texas has put up a new sign to warn anyone with ill intentions for the school.

It reads, “Attention. Please be aware that the staff of Wills Point is armed, trained and will use whatever force is necessary to protect our students.”

As each district across the country is left to battle the rash of gun violence on their own, it seems likely that more and more will follow in the footsteps of WPISD, turning the country’s schools into a modern Wild West.
