Ted Cruz Admits People Should be Arrested over ‘Flying Migrants’ Stunts

Senator Ted Cruz, who happens to be a lawyer for those who remember, sat down with Sean Hannity this week.

And what he had to say could spell bad news bears for people like Texas Gov Greg Abbott and Florida Gov Ron DeSantis.

Abbott and DeSantis are governors who have been loading migrants up on planes or buses and shipping them to blue/progressive areas to try to score some “gotcha” points. The whole idea is, “If you want them in the country so bad, you take care of them!”

While their point is well understood, it may well be arrest-worthy.

Cruz told Hannity, “For you, a citizen, you could easily be arrested, although to be honest, Joe Biden’s Justice Department wouldn’t arrest you.”

Hannity thought that was pretty ridiculous, firing back, “Oh no, I’m a conservative, I disagree, they would arrest me if I was a liberal I would get away with it.”

Cruz had to admit, “That’s true.”

Hannity then pressed him to explain where laws on human trafficking sit in this case, and Cruz responded with no slight reluctance, “It is clear.” But never to miss an opportunity for a Russian ballet-worthy pirouette, Cruz quipped, “Right now, the biggest human trafficker on the face of the planet is Joseph Robinette Biden Jr.”

Unless Biden was driving the bus or flying the plane, he should probably amend that to “Ron DeSantis.” But of course, coming out of the gate against a popular political stunt scoring points ahead of the midterms wouldn’t be politically expedient, so Cruz would never.

Except that he did – “it is clear” is a pretty damning statement about Abbott and DeSantis’s “gestures.” Time will tell if the DOJ takes action against them or other govs using humans as their pawns.
