TBS Cancels Debut of Dana White’s Power Slap League – Organizations Distancing Themselves From UFC President

Is it possible to have worse timing?

Dana White’s latest venture, the Power Slap League, looks dead before arrival after the UFC boss was caught on video slapping his wife in the face on New Year’s Eve.

The league was set to debut on TBS on January 11, but it now no longer appears on the TBS schedule, nor is it present on the TBS website. The images above from MMA Fighting’s Instagram show a deleted PSL.

It is not a surprising outcome, as White’s tirade is nothing short of a PR nightmare. TBS has not yet released an official statement regarding the league’s future. Still, it certainly seems like the Network is doing all it can to distance itself from the situation.

FACTZ has been told, “The deal is off the table currently as TBS understands the gravity of the situation.”

FACTZ Chairman Stephen J. Cloobeck, who approved Dana White’s Power Slap League with the Nevada Athletic Commission, tells FACTZ, “I made a mistake by thinking Dana White’s character was honorable.”

We will see what is next for White, including any potential responses from UFC or ESPN.

Keep your hands to yourself, Dana.

  • I’m disappointed and disgusted to embarrass the Great State of Nevada. The Gold Standard of Combat Sports. Additionally to have other media be allowed to supress FACTZ. IF this was a Black or Brown man then what would we be talking about ! Didn’t Dana say no one is above this behavior?
