Taylor Swift Rocks Couture Looks as She Kicks Off New Tour

Taylor Swift has officially kicked off her new tour, with the debut night happening March 17 in Glendale, Arizona.

And what she’s wearing is generating as much buzz as what she’s singing for her brand new The Eras Tour.

Swift showed off three custom couture looks created by fashion house Robert Cavalli, including a stunning snake catsuit. One was a custom Roberto Cavalli Couture Light Gold Fringed Mini Dress, which the designers described as “fully embroidered in light gold flounces of briolette fringe, forming horizontal zig zag tiers all over the body” with “wide straps [that] fall into a fitted sweetheart bustier”.

Swift also showed off the “Embroidered Snake Asymmetrical black catsuit”, which featured a black three-dimensional embroidered snake winding from top to bottom. The snake is fully articulated by ruby red baguettes, black bezels and diamond crystal accents. Matching combat boots feature the same base and embroidery.

The last look is a Roberto Cavalli Couture Embroidered Rhombus Top and Mini Skirt. “Swarovski crystals and metallic cylindrical embroidery create a rhombus motif all over a coordinating bustier top and mini skirt, in shades of fuchsia. To complete the brilliance, briolette fringes have been layered all over for a fringe effect,” according to the designers.

The collab between Swift and Cavalli started in February, when she wore one of their custom dresses on the red carpet.

And a capsule collection inspired by Swift includes jeweled looks covered in Swarovski crystal embroidery and delicate embellishments.

Each dress in the capsule required over 170 hours of hand-craftsmanship by skilled artisans, according to Robert Cavalli.
