This video and message are dedicated to them. It’s my hope that those I hold dear can find solace and a moment of peace amid these trying times. My heart aches for them, as they grapple with the unimaginable.
In a country of dreams, we’ve been blessed beyond measure. However, for my family, those dreams have transformed into a living nightmare. For the very first time, my phone has been silenced. Conversations evade me, and responding to messages has become an uphill battle. This morning, I witnessed my family laying to rest my cousin, and I broke down. I saw a man I cherish more than most people in my family shatter. These emotions have unleashed tears I never knew I had within me.
I wish there were words to convey how deep my love runs for these two individuals who are going through this heart-wrenching experience. To my friends in Israel, I share your pain.
