Soccer Player Lionel Messi Becomes Newest Crypto Celeb with Bitget

Celebrities have jumped with both feet onto the bandwagon of cryptocurrency, even as the market falters a little amid global financial woes.

And the newest one to do so is a soccer star, Lionel Messi.

Messi is the newest brand ambassador for Singapore-based cryptocurrency derivatives exchange, Bitget.

His job will further introduce Bitget to users, brands, and organizations worldwide.

Bitget was established in July 2018, acting as the official partner of Juventus (as well as the official cryptocurrency exchange partner) and its first-ever sleeve partner.

Bitget claims 1.6 million registered users in 48 countries and regions (including the UK, France, Italy, South Korea, Japan, and Russia) and supports futures trading, spot trading, and digital asset purchasing.

Messi fans will be able to explore Web 3.0 and the potential of trading crypto on Bitget. Messi said of the partnership, “I wanted to thank Bitget for their enthusiasm in making me participate in the world of crypto. I trust that both parties can activate meaningful initiatives and offer web 3 to the sports fans.”
