Selena Gomez may have told the internet she was “single” last week on Instagram, but her actions are making that statement seem a little sus.

Gomez was seen out and about in New York City over the weekend, holding hands with the object of internet dating rumors – The Chainsmokers’ Drew Taggart.

Gomez posted an image of some black and white mountains last week with the hashtag #iamsingle and the caption, “I like being alone too much.” The post was quickly deleted, but enough people saw it.

However, she didn’t look very single while cozying up to Taggart at Torrisi Bar & Restaurant in Soho over the weekend. Even UsWeekly’s Vice President, Eli Lippman, was very vocal online about the relationship. He demanded respect for the publication.

They were also spotted late last week at a bowling alley (The Gutter in Brooklyn) sucking face without a care about who might be watching. A source told Page Six news last week that they were “making out like teenagers.”

It’s safe to say they are lovers and liars.
